Jay is a Senior Litigation Associate at Jacobowitz Newman Tversky, focusing on a range of complex commercial litigation matters in federal, state, and appellate courts.
Prior to joining Jacobowitz Newman Tversky, Jay practiced extensively in nationwide consumer class actions and mass arbitrations. He litigated and secured settlements in automotive defect, false advertising, and data breach cases for thousands of settlement class members. He also defended single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits brought against financial institutions under federal and state consumer protection and commercial statues, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and related state laws.
Jay earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2013, where he served as the Business Editor for the Cardozo Public Law, Policy, and Ethics Journal. He later served as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Israel and Superior Court of Connecticut.
